On A Winter's Day

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge is starting today and for this week the twist is make a card in your favorite shape. I'm really not fancy I like to make the standard A2 card. Our sponsor for this month is Stitchy Bear. The image I choose to use is called On A Winter's Day.

The edges are distressed. Applied white liquid applique on some of the trees, fence and on some the house. Sprinkled glitter and them heat set the applique so it would puff up just a little.
Used chalks to add some colors. In the windows I used some yellow Stickles glitter glue so it would give a glow of the light are on.
Was not happy how the inside turned out and did not have time to change it and I will. So no picture of the inside this time. Here is a close up of the scene. I think you can see everything much better. I really like the way the chalks turned out with just a touch of color.
Thanks for spending a little time with me, hope you have a great week end. Stay warm if it's cold where you are or stay cool if it's hot.

How fun is that to turn on the lights on by using yellow stickles. That's a great idea and it really gives the illusion of warmth and movement in the houses. Your card is gorgeous, Pat!
Happy New Year to you!!

Such a pretty little scene you created, Pat! I love the use of the chalk for just a hint of color. Reminds me of a vintage postcard.

Pat this looks like a painting to go on someone's living room wall. Just gorgeous. Your coloring with the chalks is just beautiful and the touches of Liquid Applique was the perfect final touch. Have a wonderful evening.
